On May 29, 2014, SAGA Construction opened the gates to their new development, Waterside Villages of Currituck, to publicly showcase an exciting waterside community in Grandy, NC. Co-hosted by Coldwell Banker Seaside Realty, the grand opening was well attended by nearly 100 guests, including County Commissioners, local business owners and Dare and Currituck County residents.
Attendees were treated to a celebratory ribbon cutting and tours of newly constructed homes and waterfront condominiums. The festivities continued at the community’s club house where guests enjoyed live music performed by country and western band, Sean Olds and the Church of the Eternal, corn hole competitions and catering by Nixon’s from Edenton, who served up classic southern favorites like fried chicken, catfish and Carolina pork BBX along with an array of delicious side dishes and desserts.
