Each Brewery has its own personality and are zealous about their unique craft beer
In 2020, there were a total number of 8,764 craft breweries in the United States, based on the latest data of the Brewers Association. Each brewery is different and visiting them all has become a popular pastime. And North Carolina boasts the largest number of craft breweries in the American South, with more than 350 breweries and brewpubs.
Craft breweries on the Outer Banks create a welcome environment for friends to gather and enjoy a unique and delicious product, made in smaller batches. Some even offer tours of the brewery operation and production. They include Brewpubs, Taprooms, and microbreweries.
Local breweries are fun to visit, and often host live music and special events. Backyard games are usually part of the brewery experience, hanging out with friends, drinking beer and playing games makes the brewery visit feel like being at someone’s home.
