He is an experienced manager and civil engineering professional for both commercial and residential construction development, as well as holding an unlimited license as a North Carolina General Contractor.

Bringing over 30 years of experience, Fred previously worked as Vice President of Construction for a commercial developer, Vantage Properties of Dallas, Texas, founded in his own business, Target Builders, was a Project Manager for John R. Jurgensen Company in Ohio, held the title of Land Development Manager for Fischer Homes in Cincinnati and worked for several years with Drees Homes, a national home builder rated in 2008 as “America’s Best Builder” by Builder Magazine. “I have consistently held a strong interest and passion for architecture and construction. I enjoy the challenge of coordinating all building aspects beginning with community planning, home and amenity design and developing construction phases to result in a timely delivery of a quality product. On a personal level, one of the greatest benefits of my career path is turning each homeowner’s dreams into a reality.”

As the Land Development Manager at SAGA Realty & Construction, Fred is a residential developer and builder of North Carolina coastal and ocean-front properties on the Outer Banks and Currituck Mainland, building homes ranging in price from $200,000 to $4,000,000. Fred has an easy nature and genuine appreciation of his daily life, which is focused around his religion, family, work and business associates. He supports his wife, Beverly, in her volunteer work for the N.C. Symphony and Ballet. He also enjoys a variety of recreational activities including golf, swimming, biking and hiking
