This summer, families considering a vacation on the Outer Banks will find something new to enjoy — the Outer Banks Waterpark H2OBX!  With top summer rentals already booking up, we’ve got all the details on this must-visit attraction, opening summer 2017.

Outer Banks Water Park Rides & Tickets

H2OBX is a family-friendly water park with tons of thrill for all ages. Kids can splash and wade at the sand pail beach, enjoy water slides that are just their size, and run through the splash zone. There’s fun for the whole family tubing on Teach’s Tides Adventure River, catching the biggest breaks on the NC coast at the Cat-5 Wave Pool, or exploring the ramparts on Calico Jack’s pirate ship attraction.

Adrenaline junkies will love the thrill rides, from the 9-story free fall slide to a zero-gravity riptide. H2OBX has some of the craziest water slides anywhere, so if you love adventure, you’ve got to put this water park on your bucket list.

H2OBX offers two categories of season passes, plus day passes perfect for vacationing families. Children under two enjoy free admission. Youth tickets (for those under 42″ in height) are $44.99, and general admission costs $49.99.  Season passes offer the biggest discount to this water park. Passes are limited in quantity, so to get the most from summer activities at the water park, buy yours today. Passes valid from April 1 to June 2 cost $109 each, while passes from June 3 to September 4 are $129. If you buy four or more passes, you’ll receive $10 off the price of each.

If you get hungry after tearing through the Outer Banks’ only water park, there are plenty of dining options. From traditional North Carolina BBQ to kid-friendly burgers and pizza, it’s easy to grab something and go or enjoy a sit-down meal with friendly service. Flyboys Bar offers 12 craft beers on tap, and Coastal Confectionaries and Dune Devil’s Desserts satisfy those with a sweet tooth.

OBX Vacation Rental Opportunities for Summer 2017

Summer activities, like the new water park, draw families looking for beach vacation to the Outer Banks vs. the Jersey Shore, for example. Yet having a great new water park nearby also benefits those who live and work in the OBX year-round. And all those vacationers hoping to hit the water slides and enjoy summertime fun need somewhere to stay! If you have a vacation rental property, this is one more benefit you can mention in your online listings. You might even consider purchasing a pair of season passes that renters can use to visit H2OBX.

As a business with roots in the Outer Banks, we always love to see great new attractions like the H2OBX water park come to town, not only for our personal enjoyment but for the boost they give the local economy. How about you?
