SAGA is pleased to announce the new relationship between Robert (Bob) Schiffer, Managing Director of ACEO2 Consulting LLC, to the newly formed SAGA Community Fund (SCF) of SAGA Construction. Bob will advise and implement Community based programs that are directed to enhance the health and welfare of residents and visitors to the Outer Banks.

Bob brings many years of experience in community philanthropic endeavors, starting and operating five different NFP organizations. One of which was first associated with Grumman Corporation in NY where he was employed for over 15 years in aircraft contract administration, mergers and acquisitions, executive training, lobbing at the state and federal level and directing community affairs.

As a loaned executive from Grumman he directed a Public Private Partnerships for a range of programs to enhance economic development and played a key role in launching biomedical research on Long Island and later in his career statewide. Bob also specializes in economic development programs at the State and County level.

Bob’s main focus for SAGA will be to assist our community outreach programs by building bridges within the community to grow programs necessary to meet the needs of our resident population.

One such focus will be the recent need to equip local KHD police cars with life-saving Automatic External Defibrillators (AED’s). Other commitments include a partnership with Outer Banks Sporting Events to sponsor the annual SAGA Outer Banks Triathlon. OBSE is a local non-profit organization and 100% of net proceeds from their events support the missions of the Dare County Education Foundation and the Outer Banks Relief Foundation.

Bob Schiffer can be reached at either the SAGA office on 252-441-9003 or his cell phone 347.219.3888.
